FCC Broadband Labels
The U.S. FCC issued a request for comments on proposed broadband consumer disclosure labels in NPRM 22-7. Our team surveyed over 2500 participants about how these labels should look and what information they should contain. I led the visual design of a full and condensed label based on our findings; my designs improved consumer comprehension in our trials, and the FCC adopted most of our suggestions. These labels are now shown at the point of sale for all fixed and wireless internet plans in the US. Summary label shown below.
